An organization takes part in Movimento Circular through five paths
Since 2020 the Movement has brought together around 100 organizations, among them governments, public agencies, industry associations, manufacturers, startups, cooperatives and education networks. Each path starts from a different situation, and the conversation begins with your organization’s.
The five paths to taking part
-
01
Membership
The organization wants to enter the circular agenda and be seen within it.
Members gain visibility across the Movement’s channels, curated connections with companies, academia and government, the ecosystem’s endorsement and a place in the Case Bank. There are four membership levels, tiered by the organization’s annual revenue, and the proposal is issued in writing after the first conversation.
For companies, manufacturers, cooperatives and education networks.

02
Strategic partnership
The organization wants to build a project jointly, with its own brand on it.
Strategic partnership opens a seat on the agenda committee, co-signature of a workstream and a place on the international route to COP31. The conference takes place from November 9 to 20, 2026, in Antalya, Türkiye, and brings zero waste to the main agenda for the first time. Places are limited per cycle.
For boards with a multi-year budget.

Institutional cooperation
The organization is a government body, industry association, academic institution or international organization.
Institutional cooperation activates training for public servants, co-hosting of public agenda and technical cooperation. It is the design of the SEMIL Circular program, signed in 2025 with the Secretariat for the Environment, Infrastructure and Logistics (SEMIL) of the Government of São Paulo, and that of the workshops held with Sebrae. It is signed as a cooperation agreement.
For secretariats, public agencies, the Sistema S, universities and multilateral organizations.

Tax-incentive project
The organization wants to direct part of the tax it owes to a project carrying its own brand.
The tax-incentive project opens fundraising under the Recycling Incentive Law, regulated in 2025, and under the Rouanet Law, Law No. 8,313 of 1991. The Movement’s projects were among the first approved under the recycling regulation. The allocation happens within the fiscal year.
For finance departments and private social investment.

Experiences and training
The organization wants a hands-on experience for its own team, on a date already set.
This path brings together Circular Experience, held within Circular Day at the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) in São Paulo in 2025, Certificação Circular, the Evento Circular platform and closed training sessions. The conversation starts with date, city and number of participants.
For marketing, human resources and corporate universities.
