Join us this Saturday for the Grand Finale of the 2024 International World Without Waste Award!

The projects competing in the final have stood out at various science and technology fairs across Latin America throughout 2024.

The 2024 International World Without Waste Award reaches its big finale this Saturday, December 7th. Organized by the Circular Movement and supported by Scania, this event recognizes initiatives linked to the Circular Economy and will bring together the top projects showcased at partner science fairs throughout the year. The ceremony will be streamed live on the Circular Movement's YouTube channel starting at 1 PM (Brasília time), 11 AM (Colombian time), and 10 AM (Mexican time).

The award aims to encourage solutions to local problems, focusing on circular practices that reduce waste and enhance resource efficiency. This year, the projects underwent a rigorous evaluation by an interdisciplinary panel based on criteria such as innovation, social and environmental impact, feasibility, and alignment with the 7Rs principles of the Circular Economy: Refuse, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair, and Regenerate.
